Putting the Pedal Back Down on the Shop Floor
You know that feeling when your older printing press just can’t keep up anymore? The UV lamps feel sluggish, and your line speed grinds to a crawl. It’s frustrating, right? We built our high-output germicidal UV lamp to be a direct, drop-in fix for exactly that. The whole idea is simple: get your aging machine humming again at the speeds it was always meant to run at—no full-blown overhaul needed.
Power Under the Hood
Here’s the thing about this lamp—it’s all about raw power. It runs on a 400V high-voltage setup, which is exactly what you need to create that intense arc for deep curing and germicidal work. We pack all that punch into a 300mm tube. It’s compact, but it delivers a heavy dose of heat and UV in a tight space. That kind of wattage is what gives you the energy density to cure inks and coatings at faster press speeds. But, and this is important, all that power creates serious heat. Your machine’s cooling system has to be able to handle the temperature rise. If it can’t, you risk stressing the components.
Built to Take the Heat
At the heart of the lamp is a high-purity quartz tube. We chose it because it can handle the intense thermal shock of being switched on and off over and over again. It’s also coated to focus on specific UV wavelengths, so the energy goes straight into curing and sterilization where it needs to. And the R7s connector? It’s a standard, tough interface. That means wiring it up on the shop floor is straightforward and secure. No messing around with custom terminal blocks. This thing is built to survive a 24/7 production grind.
Giving Your Old Machine a New Lease on Life
This lamp is the centerpiece of our “Old Machine Reboot” service. It slides right in to replace those underperforming units in your legacy equipment. The payoff is real. You get faster curing, fewer rejects, and a machine that finally runs at the speed you need. It’s a practical way to breathe new life into your capital investment, without the cost and downtime of buying something brand new.
